Performance and Potential Attendees entering the Abbey will enjoy performances from budding artists supported by the Future Talent charity, established in part by the late Duchess of Kent to broaden opportunities for instrumental training. Carys Wood, aged 18, who plays the trumpet and is from Wales, has been supported by the charity, with grants helping towards instruments, tuition, and transportation expenses - and she said it was "amazing" to be performing at tonight's service. "Pursuing music is often costly," she stated. She is now enrolled at the Royal Academy of Music, and added that "each individual ought to be given the possibility" to develop their musical skills. A Sisterly Duo Eliza, Carys's sister who is 11, who is a euphonium player, will be present at the Abbey. "I never thought I'd be able to play there in front of so many notable figures," she said. Attending the service will be representatives of different generations. That will feature nine-year-old Saphia Turner, recipient of a prize for youthful altruism, who sells artwork and carries out sponsored challenges to collect donations for community pantries.
